· Founding "Steel Network": Mr. Ahmed Hegazy founded the "Steel Network" platform in 2010 to be a specialized media voice for the iron and steel sector in the region. · Launching a Leading Digital Magazine: Mr. Ahmed Higazy established a monthly digital magazine for the iron and steel sector, which is the only Arab magazine that supports specialized Arabic content. · Building Strategic Partnerships: In 2024, Mr. Hegazy signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Saudi National Steel Industry Committee. · Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Knowledge Sharing: Mr. Ahmed Higazy places great emphasis on social responsibility, through:

o "The American Steel Sector Through Arab Eyes": An interview with Mr. Perry Schneider, an influential figure in the US steel sector.
o "German Steel Industry Technology Through Arab Eyes": A report on the technology of the German SMS Group.
o The platform also produced a video report with the global Ukrainian company "Metinvest," discussing the company's capabilities and celebrating its 15th anniversary.
· Organizing Seminars and Conferences: Mr. Hegazy organized several important events, such as a seminar at the Embassy of Ukraine in Cairo with the Ukrainian Ambassador Yevhen Mykytenko, where they discussed Egyptian-Ukrainian relations in national projects related to the iron and steel sector. The Ambassador was honored during this seminar, which was attended by senior diplomatic journalists and included a press conference on the sidelines.
· Building an Influential Network: Throughout his professional career spanning over 15 years, Mr. Ahmed Hegazy has conducted press interviews with key influential figures in the Arab steel community. He has participated in more than 50 global steel conferences in over 15 countries. He is also a member of the Organizing Committee for the 3rd International Iron and Steel Conference in Saudi Arabia, held under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Industry, Bandar Alkhorayef.
· Specialized Advisory Board: Mr. Ahmed Hegazy established a dedicated Advisory Board for the platform, comprising over 15 experts in the steel sector from various Arab and European countries, and in different commercial and industrial specialties, which ensures the accuracy and reliability of the content from various countries.
· Honoring Influencers and Leaders: Since 2019, the "Steel Network" platform has been honoring influential figures in the iron and steel sector, through a committee of sector experts and according to specific selection criteria. Among the most prominent figures honored by the platform:
o Libyan Minister of Industry, Dr. Ahmed Abu Hisa (2022): In appreciation of his efforts in supporting the Libyan steel industry and facing numerous industrial challenges.
o Egyptian Minister of Industry, Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir (2025): In a major ceremony attended by senior figures, manufacturers, and workers in the sector, in appreciation of his efforts in supporting and developing the iron and steel industry.
Honors and Memberships: He has been honored multiple times by the Arab Entrepreneurs Union and selected among the 100 influential figures in entrepreneurship across the Arab world. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Higher Institute for Advanced Studies, is a member of the Commercial Syndicate (Commercial Statistics Division), a member of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), and a member of the Foreign Correspondents Association.
